A Boy and is Dog
1975 film A Boy and His Dog, based on a story by Harlan Ellison. In the post-apocalyptic wasteland, a young man named Vic and his telepathically-communicating dog, Blood, are a team who survive by foraging for food and fighting marauders. Their journey takes a dark turn when Vic is lured to a seemingly utopian underground society by a woman, only to be captured and brought before its ruling committee, who have plans to use him to re-populate their society.
