The Santa Fe Trail

Santa Fe Trail (1940): This historical Western follows future Civil War generals J.E.B. Stuart and George Armstrong Custer, played by Errol Flynn and Ronald Reagan, respectively, as they graduate from West Point and are sent to Kansas to deal with the abolitionist John Brown's uprising. The film is a dramatic, and historically loose, depiction of the escalating tensions leading up to the war.
