The Naked Kiss (1964) A gritty neo-noir melodrama directed by Samuel Fuller. A former prostitute named Kelly arrives in a small, seemingly respectable town after assaulting her pimp. She attempts to start a new, honest life as a nurse's aide, but the town's police chief, who she had a one-night stand with, is suspicious of her "reformation." She soon falls for a wealthy and respected citizen, but her search for normality is shattered when she uncovers the town's dark secret.
