The Moonstone
The Moonstone (1934) This is an early film adaptation of Wilkie Collins' classic novel. A valuable diamond from India known as "The Moonstone" is delivered to a young woman, but its reputation for bringing bad luck proves true when it is stolen from her room that very night. A Scotland Yard inspector is brought in to solve the complex mystery, navigating a house full of suspects, secret motives, and a sleepwalking man who may hold the key to the theft.
