The Monster Walks
The Monster Walks (1932) On a dark and stormy night, a group of relatives and servants gather at an old house for the reading of a wealthy man's will. His daughter is the sole heir, but a strange clause states the estate goes to her invalid uncle if she dies. When murders begin to occur—seemingly at the hands of a large, caged ape kept in the basement—it's up to the daughter's fiancé, a doctor, to uncover the human killer orchestrating the plot.
