The Monster Maker
The Monster Maker (1944) A brilliant but unhinged scientist, Dr. Igor Markoff, falls obsessively in love with the daughter of a famous concert pianist. When the pianist spurns him, Dr. Markoff exacts a gruesome revenge by injecting him with a serum that causes acromegaly, a disease that results in grotesque, monster-like physical deformation. The mad doctor then tries to blackmail the pianist and his daughter for the antidote.
