The Man on the Eiffel Tower
The Man on the Eiffel Tower (1949): In Paris, Inspector Maigret (Charles Laughton) investigates the murder of a wealthy American woman, for which a nervous, poor knife-grinder is initially arrested. Maigret soon realizes the real killer is a cunning, intellectual genius who is playing a deadly game of wits with the police, which culminates in a chase up the Eiffel Tower.
